Carver Shop ONLY!

This is a SuperSecretSale  – Carver Exclusive! The Carver Shop will close for the season (but not forever!) in the next couple of weeks. Mike does not want to move everything to the Plymouth Shop (he’d rather be fishing.) So he’s offering everything in Carver ONLY at deeply discounted prices. Now is a great time to fill in that empty space or create a new perennial garden. It’s also a great time to plant trees or shrubs!

Great perennials and nursery stock!

Choose any perennial or nursery stock item and we’ll take 25% off!  Choose from our entire stock of perennials, shrubs and trees.  Try a  Rudbeckia or Echinacea!  Look for a Digiplexis, it’s a cross between a digitalis and isoplexis (foxglove and it’s cousin.) National Pollinator Week – Your Call to Action!

National Pollinator Week!

Let’s take time during National Pollinator Week (or any week) to celebrate pollinators and spread the word about what we can do to help and protect them.

National Pollinator Week
Pollinators work for us and we can help them
Pollinators are important to us and we can do a lot to help and support them. Bees, butterflies, birds and insects are critical to an ecosystem. Pollination is a vital stage in the life cycle of our plants and necessary for healthy and productive ecosystems. We can help pollinators by planting gardens with pollinator friendly plants and thus creating desirable habitats for our friends. Plant for continuous bloom throughout the growing season from spring to fall. Select a site that has at least partial sun, and can provide water. Allow material from dead branches and logs remain as nesting sites or consider installing wood nesting blocks for wood-nesting natives.

Sun loving color all season!

“A thing of beauty is a joy forever.”

When Keats penned that, he may not have had plants in mind. But it has been scientifically proven that plants make you happier.

(What science and where? I don’t know, but it sounds plausible.)

Anyway, even though there may be a few showers in our future, hanging a plant in your garden is a great way to brighten spaces, lift a mood and make a plant happy!

Buy one hanging basket, get one half off. Items must be of equal or lesser value. Sale in effect until Thursday June 22, 2017 or while supplies last.
